Welcome to the new...first and only blogsite for Faces of the Fatherless Orphan Care and Adoption Ministry!This site will keep you updated on what events are happening and different ways you can help care for orphans.
It has been very exciting to see this ministry spring together from nothing in the last 2 weeks. God has some big things planned for ClearBranch and for our surrounding community.
We have a general interest meeting coming up on Oct 14 at 7pm in the ClearBranch Cafe - for anyone to come and play a role in defining the goals and activities for the next year.
We currently have 2 big projects under way. First we are raising money to sponsor an orphan through Makeway Partners. Which is a really wonderfull organization based out of Birmingham that is changing the lives of orphans in Sudan in a very real and meaningfull way.
The second project is very close to my heart....it is the development of a matching grant/no interest loan program for adopting families. We are still working on raising the seed money to start the program...but I am sure that God will provide! He wants orphans to find a mom, a dad, and a heavenly father!
